Bandhavgarh National Park is 180 kms from the Jabalpur Airport, located in Umaria District amidst the Vindhyan Mountain ranges of Central India.
It is a dense 450 sq. Km forest with the highest Tiger sighting in the country currently. Apart from the mighty tiger, Bandhavgarh National Park Forest boasts of having Leopards, Dholes (Wild Dogs), Blue Bull (Nilgai), Wild Boar, Jungle cat, Crater Snakes, Pythons, Jackal, Fox, Sloth Bear, Ratel, Grey Mongoose, Hyena, Spotted Deer, Sambar Deer, Chinkara, Gaur (Indian Bison), Palm Squirrel (smallest Squirrel) and many more dangerous yet beautiful animals. It also has the famous Ghost tree which glows.
